DRYDEN, Ont. – Matt Caulfield's unassited goal 2:36 into overtime was the difference as the Fort Frances Lakers rallied to defeat the host Dryden Ice Dogs 6-5 Wednesday evening in SIJHL preseason play at Dryden Memorial Arena.

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – With Superior International Junior Hockey League announced today that a 11th exhibition game has been added to the preseason schedule. The two new SIJHL clubs in the Duluth Clydesdales and Wisconsin Wilderness will meet Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Northwest Sports Complex in Spooner, Wis. Game time is slated for 2 p.m.

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – With Superior International Junior Hockey League preseason play slated to get underway this evening, a 10th exhibition game has been added to the slate. The expansion Wisconsin Wilderness will get their first taste of game action on Sunday, Sept. 12 when they travel to Fort Frances to take on the hometown Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena. Start time will be a 2:30 p.m. matinee.

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has officially announced their regular season schedule for the 2010-11 campaign. A total of six teams, including the addition of two new member clubs, will take to the ice this season, marking the 10th anniversary of the SIJHL. The Dryden Ice Dogs, a charter member of the SIJHL, Fort Frances Lakers and Fort William North Stars of Thunder Bay along with the Sioux Lookout Flyers welcome the Duluth Clydesdales and Wisconsin Wilderness of Spooner, Wis., to the league.

A group of five Member Leagues within the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) are proud to announce an unprecedented joint effort to eliminate violence and bullying from Junior A hockey. This initiative has developed from a partnership between the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), and Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL), who have formed together to create the Junior A Supplement, which will be launched as a pilot project in the 2010-2011 CJHL Season.
